"Very good for my needs in Alice Springs"

"Good central spot in Alice Springs to jump off to other activities. Short walk to grocery and main entertainment area. Beds are comfortable and the showers are plenty hot. It is an older hotel, so reflects the same, but with clean comfortable beds and hot water we were happy. We had the portion of the hotel where the rooms are glass walls to the outdoor hallway, which was fine, but did mean we heard all the chatter outside when some locals decided to stay up all night talking. "Has everything you need. Property is at The Gap, just out of the town centre. The only fault I can pick is with the particular room I had. Room 7B is located over the front entrance to the property. After hours there is a gate that guests open for entry to the property. The gate itself is noisy but also guests often linger in the area, talking at 3am after a night out. I’m sure most rooms at the property are fine but those over that entrance might be disturbed, particularly on the weekends. "
