"I love my stay here so much, great place to relax and reset! So peaceful sitting on my balcony, just listening to the birds and taking in the amazing view. The hotel staff is exceptional, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back and stay next time I visit Portugal."
Casa Dona Edite Guesthouse Douro

"Casa Dona Édite was a wonderful stop on our trip. The guest house is simply wonderful with beautiful shared spaces, immaculate rooms and a simply breath taking location. Breakfast was delicious with home made items and Persimmon, grown on the property. The owners were warm and inviting, full of excellent recommendations including delicious tapas at a local cafe and a gorgeous walk through the village with their dog as a talented and attentive guide! (When you stay here you MUST walk to the trees at the top of the hill - the view is breath taking). I hope we are fortunate enough to spend time here again in the future."

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."
Douro Olive Hills Village - by FERO

"L'endroit est vraiment superbe. Le décor des collines du Douro est magnifique La maison est bien aménagée. La chambre que nous avions était belle, propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner inclus était parfait. La connection WiFi et réseau cellulaire étaint intable et parfois sans service. Le four electrique n'était L'habitation est dans la coline, donc idéalement il faut une voiture. Le chemin est faisable à pied pour les gens en bonne forme mais s'il fait chaud ce n'est pas évident. De plus il faut prevoir environ 30 minutes pour ce rendre a la fare de train. Le jour, des taxis sont disponible mais en soirée, a paritir de 7hPM c'est plus difficile. J'ai bien apprécié min séjour, j'y retournerais."
