***Note this property is not in Ali Shan.
But it is great to stay 1 night as a brief layover.
Rooms were clean and lots of space. Would recommend for a quick stay.
We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were clean, quiet and spacious, with splendid views and easy access to outdoor sunrise viewing. The staff were outstanding: friendly, generous with their time and always willing to help. We would happily stay here again. (One thing to note is that bus service, while reliable and close at hand, is infrequent. We wished we had rented a car.)
A great option for anyone visiting Alishan. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff/owner, and very comfortable rooms. The 6th floor viewing area should not be missed!
Simple hotel better than city acclaimed int'l hotel. At least equipped with Int'l tv channels and 220v charging points.
Tranquil location and friendly family owned hotel.
Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly offering us tea and assitance getting to amazing trails through bamboo forests and tea farms.
The property is very nice and clean. One thing to note in the thin walls as you can hear your neighbours if they’re talking normally/snoring. The owners of the property are very kind and helpful. Overall I would recommend for anyone staying in the area
Tea Cloud Guest House was a good property! Nice and peaceful, however felt quite isolated and very limited dining options. The restaurant next door was ok and very expensive, I would advise people to have a 7/11 dinner instead of eating at the restaurant next door. The staff at the accommodation were incredibly nice and welcoming and offered me some free tea which I greatly appreciated!!
Great and friendly hosts, location by public transport while on the way to Alishan tourist area (35-40 mins away) is relatively convenient 5 min walk from closest bus stop. Heater provided in room. Shower is clean. Common area is very comfortable.
Room is spacious and clean. Hosts are kind and attentive. Fantastic sunrise view from the viewing area on the 6th floor. A lack of heating made the room rather chilly but the bed was warm and comfortable.
Amazing views from the room. Large and comfortable. Staff very nice. My one disappointment, is that it says B&B which to me means bed and breakfast. There was no breakfast and no place to get breakfast. I was told to go to 7/11.
This property was very nice. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. The bed was excellent. It was actually much better than I expected. The family running the B&B were very helpful and happily drove me to the closest town. Breakfast was not available when I stayed, which was a little disappointing. There are not any restaurants in the area around the hotel which may be a problem if you are fussy about food.
The property is half way to the top of the mountain, so about an hour's driving from Jiaye.
The suite we stay has two bedrooms, a shared washroom with two bidet toilets and a large shower. It also has a large living room and an open tea room that can be converted into a bed room. The suite is clean and very comfortable to stay for a family.
The staffs were very friendly.
One of the attractions of Alisan is sunrise, you can enjoy a cup of Alisan's green tea in their lounge at the sixth floor. However, if you are enthusiastic about Alisan's sunrise, you should drive to the top of the mountain. You will be above the cloud which is very beautiful also and be able to watch the sun rising from the cloud.
The owners were very nice and hospitable. They drove us to the bus station to get to Alishan and arranged for dinner reservations since it’s not in a central location with a lot of dining or transportation options. Felt very homey.
The owners were fantastic, can't say enough about them helping me arrange a trip to Alishan, offering some excellent tea, and driving me to a restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Beautiful hotel, and staff was incredibly sweet. You can see the Alishan sunrise from the hotel - no need to jostle up the mountain. Family owned, and it shows! Staff also drove us to the bus stop to go up the mountain the next day.
The owners were wonderful, friendly people. They drove us to a restaurant for dinner and breakfast, showed us their tea plantation, and allowed us to sample their tea. They spoke good English and some Japanese in addition to Chinese.
