In der Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken wie z.B den Briksdalsbreen Gletscher oder den Skylift in Loen und einiges mehr. Ausserdem kann man sich beim Gastgeber (wohnt um die Ecke) ein Boot für kleines Geld ausleihen mit dem man den See erkunden kann.
