"The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places."

"Lovely hotel , old and characterful, the staff were very caring, breakfast excellent. Only one complaint. Pillows very lumpy and hard, probably need replacing. I find this is a common problem with hotels."
