"The Inn is a on beautiful property. We enjoyed the historic aspect and the unique old time feel . Staff were cheerful, courteous and helpful . We also enjoyed the on site brewery and activities.
On the cons side, there is a real need for upkeep in some of the common areas. The trash can in the Delaware Lodge lobby was not emptied all weekend and was overflowing by Sunday. A good thorough cleaning of floors and doors in the public bathrooms is necessary as well.
Updating would be nice in the rooms (peeling paint and wall paper for example), but the beds and bedding were very comfortable.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but management needs to pay more attention to cleaning."
