"The breakfast was fantastic - they had gluten free toast which was a great surprise. The BnB was on a quiet park but close enough to the main areas to still be convenient - we slept with the windows open on multiple nights without issue. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful."
"Pleasant, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Dinner at the pub across the road was also tasty, with great service. This was a perfect stop-off on our way to the NC500."
"Bed was comfy, clean room. We had everything we needed, just had a super noisy fan and no hair dryer. Small things. Great option for breakfast and would recommend. "
"The hostel is very well located, just about a 10-minute walk from the train station and only a few minutes from the castle and historic center. We had a private room for three with its own bathroom — clean, bright, comfortable, and well equipped. The only downside was the wooden floor that creaked all the time. We highly recommend it for a short stay in Stirling. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked very clean and well equipped."
"The place needs a lot of work, the carpets were awful. The bathroom was updated which was the only thing we liked about the room as well as its central location!"

"I liked the fact that this facility supports the University of Stirling. The grounds were amazing; walking trails; and an amazing view of the Wallace Monument from one of the event rooms. The breakfast was sufficient; the bar was well-stocked; and, the staff were friendly and professional."
"Everything would have been excellent but even though we had hung the “please clean my room “ hanger on the bedroom door we returned one night to find it had not been done"
The Tollbooth - 2 Bed Apartment in an Area Worth E
8/10 Good
"Absolutely top-notch apartment in a location that is central to most of lowlands Scotland by car. All the creature comforts one could desire. The surrounding town seems to be on the upswing after some rough times, but everyone we encountered was friendly and kind. "
South Doll Farm Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 7 guests in 4 bedrooms
6/10 Okay
"This house was interesting but in many ways unsuitable for us as there is still a few steps to go down to the ground floor bedroom. The second bedroom downstairs is past the living room so access to the bathroom is not private and therefore not suitable for many guests.Upstairs a similar layout with one bedroom being far away from the bathroom. We were disappointed that there was no garden furniture put out when we arrived as for me that was the attraction to the property. After we pointed this out it was rectified late the next morning but therefore limited our use of it .The Perspex cover on the centre table was badly chipped and could have been dangerous for my elderly parents if they grazed their legs in it.The radiator cover in the passage near the kitchen fell off and again could have been dangerous. The location was however convenient for what we wanted to do and see."
