Summer break

Love this place, beautiful view, love the hot tub, lots of room and great location. Just a little traffic noise from the highway below, but I knew that before I booked and it didn’t bother me a bit.

Much needed getaway

This is our second time staying @ this property, and we love it here. Very clean, great view of the mountains, and out of the way, yet close enough to everywhere we wanted to be! We'll definitely be back!

The Internet did not work the entire time we were there. There was only one tv. Remote for DVD player had no batteries so couldn't watch DVDs. Only one towel per guest for 6 days. Broken living room window with a huge hole. They were aware of it. Pink slime on the shower curtain rings in the master bath.

The cabin on the hill.

Family spring break

We enjoyed staying here the hot was nice.. we thought the jets were weak at first but then figured out how to turn them up. The view was beautiful and our dog liked roaming around the porch. And this place was located in a good area to explore hikes, cherokee village isn't far.

Rest and Relaxation!

Quite and for the most part secluded.... We didn't leave the entire time. We felt at home and really enjoyed the hot tub. Only drawback is the traffic noise but it didn't really bother us.

Not clean. Vents caked with dust. ceiling fans full f dust. Shower with mold in corners and edges. Dishes left in dishwasher and had to be cleaned before use. Charges for every little thing example 15/hr to arrive early. No Internet. reported right away never got fixed there for four days and did not get resolution other than it has been reported to the owner. will not return

My one and only complaint

I really enjoyed the cabin and it was nice i liked the way it was situated, my one and only complaint is something you can do nothing about is the noise from the motorcycles going to and from the Tail of the Dragon other than that I am 100%satisfied with our experience there.

Beautiful view and special place

The view at this property is amazing, we got engaged at the bench overlooking the lake, it will always hold a special place in my heart. We trailered our motorcycles and this house was perfectly located for us to reach, easily all of our daily excursions. The house was clean and organized with the hot tub being very welcoming at the end of a days ride. Would definitely come back!!!!

Overall good stay. Tight driveway. If more than one vehicle you will need to back out or back all the way in. One vehicle can make a three point turn to drive out forward. Gas grille worked great. Hot tub jets are week. Wood stove needs flue cleaned but functions well enough. Nice view, especially at sunrise. Several maintenace items needed. Yellow Rose says that have informed the owners but no action yet. Internet worked fine.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The mountains and all they offer were amazing. The Tsali view cottage, not so much. Trash left in yard, fire pit unusable, gas grill broken, one busted nasty rocker for 2, hot tub musty smelling and busted head rests, pots/pan/oven gross and nasty, couch worn with a sheet over it to cover the worn cushions, leaking shower head, & much more. Yellow Rose manager did provide some discount after having to wait 4 days before repairing the fire pit and removing the trash in the yard.

We complained to Yellow Rose Realty about the issues and did not even receive the courtesy of a call back.We contacted Yellow Rose Realty a second time and were told that the problems could not be resolved by their staff and would be corrected after our stay was over. We requested to speak with a member of management at Yellow Rose and have never heard back from anyone.We cut our vacation short, leaving the cabin early because of the conditions and the lack of effort by Yellow Rose to address the problems.We have stayed in cabins managed by Yellow Rose before, but will never do so again.

The kitchen had a couple of pieces Of tile missing off the front of the counter top So it would snag ur shirt if you weren’t careful and one piece by the stove. The lighting in the dining room and family room were somewhat hard to figure out as there’s so many to choose from and 5 builds weren't working. Lamp in one bedroom didn’t work. Dust bunnies and hairs behind bathroom doors. The sofa was very old with torn cushions and very squeaky. Road noice in back yard that was surprising to hear. The house is located in a nice and quiet gated community up a hill sitting behind another home that was being painted while we were there.

House is Ok, but needs some things repaired.and cleaned!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is ok. The second bedroom bedframe was broken and we had to realign the bed slats everynight for my elderly mother to sleep in. Master bathroom toilet seat was cracked. Extremely frustrating! We sent an email and never heard back about it. The house needs a deep clean done. The silverware drawer was dirty. The outside deck on one side of the house hadn't been cleaned off in a long time. The view from the house is beautiful, but nothing mentions that there is a main highway that goes around this property. When outside, you REALLY hear tons of road noise. The house is private and dog friendly so that was a plus.

Great View of the Smoky Mountains!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a relaxing and quiet Christmas vacation at this cabin! The view of the sunrise over the Smoky Mountains was phenomenal!! We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The price was fair for all of the amenities this place had. We also liked the location as it wasn't too far away from Bryson City but still far enough to feel secluded. When we first entered the cabin (after an exhausting nine hour drive) there was water standing on the floor from the washing machine going out into the dining area. We were told just to turn off the line to the washer and dry it up with towels. Maintenance showed up the next day to fix it. The kitchen and bathroom faucets dripped non-stop and two of the stove burners did not work. These were all tolerable things but still kind of annoying. My only true complaint was that there was no Christmas tree. The neighboring cabin had two in it. We took all of our gifts from home to open on Christmas day so that was kind of a let down for my kids. Otherwise, a superb trip! Lots of good memories were made here with my children.
