There is a fantastic Golf Course in La Finca and urbanization located in Algorfa. There are also many traditional Spanish fiestas in the main village. Along with Saturday large Spanish market great for local grocery and clothing etc....

Other cities worth visiting within an hour drive of Algorfa are Elche with its thousand palm trees, Alicante with its castle and promenade, Murcia with its gardens and theatres as well as Cartagena a harbour town of Roman origins.

Some people think that Algorfa is a golfers paradise with the superb 5 star La Finca Course on its doorstep, but there are numerous other high quality golf courses on the Costa Blanca within easy reach, including Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, and just an hour drive away is the famous La Manga Club. Algorfa Tennis Club, 5 minutes walk from Villa. The club also has full equipment gym and Olympic size salt water pool, just pop in and ask for rates. You can sharpen your skills in both traditional tennis and the ever-growing sport of padel – a combination of tennis and squash played on a smaller court than traditional tennis, with a fine layer of sand to make things more interesting, along with Perpex panels around the back of the court where you can smash the ball back to your opponent (or yourself if you don’t manage to hold your footing on the previously mentioned sand)...
