"One thing that was odd is that there was no microwave in our room. Yet there was a nice assortment of tea bags....why? I was told that is true for "Basic" rooms. At the price one pays at this hotel, there is no such thing as a "basic" room. Don't turn the hotel industry into an airline where one pays for every single thing."

"Hot tub was great, but not covered. That wast so convenient since it was snowing. Rooms are not renovated, but nicely decorated. Otherwise great pretty property that feels like you are in the alps. The ski storage is only open until 9 though so after hours you have to bring your ski gear back to the room."

"The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better."

"Multi generational family of 11 ranging from 9 months to 67 years old. 4 children were below 5 years old. Visiting Tahoe for the weekend Friday to Sunday at the end of April. We did not use the patio or bbq. We did use sauna and hot tub. Pros: Cleanliness, welcome bath packs, coat stand with plenty of hooks, tissue boxes in all rooms, extra blankets, plenty of towels, plenty of seating in the family room adjoining the kitchen, plenty of kitchen equipment, adjustable heating, good lighting, everything worked (showers, hot tub, sauna, heating, garage openers, dishwasher, checkin, checkout), prompt and helpful responses to my questions, no attitude. Nice we got the safety issues sorted we had a nice time. Cons: My daughters with the kids were very stressed when they got to the property because of safety issues. We would not have taken the house if we had known about the dangers to small kids. I would not recommend this property to families with children who are crawling and are below 5 years. We made the place safe by blocking off danger areas with cushions and making sure 2 adults were always around the small kids. Property description should have included the following:1. 17 steps to get to front door2. Banister poles: small children can easily fall to the floor below through the gaps between banister poles. 3. A very heavy glass coffee table on a metal stand in the family room. This is very unsafe for small children. 4. Stair gates are not provided."

"We really enjoyed the location—being right at the base of the slopes was a huge plus. While there wasn’t snow at the base during our stay, it’s easy to see how convenient it would be to ski directly to the lift and back to the condo when conditions allow. The outdoor pool and jacuzzis were wonderful and a highlight of our stay. (The indoor hot tubs were closed for maintenance at the time.)The condo itself was clean and well cared for, and the bathroom was especially nice. The large soaking tub and upgraded Toto bidet were great touches. We also appreciated how responsive and helpful the owner was throughout our stay.For us, the only challenge was the bed size. The bedroom seems spacious enough to accommodate a king bed, and that would have made a big difference in comfort—especially for taller guests. As it was, we found it a bit tight for two people, and one of us ended up using the couch. Additionally, a dresser in the bedroom would be a helpful addition for unpacking, as storage is currently limited to a few built-in drawers in the living area.Overall, this is a great property in a fantastic location. With a small adjustment to the sleeping setup, it would be an easy place for us to return to in the future."
