Alto Pass Wine Loft

We had an awesome stay. The host had stocked kitchen with coffee and snacks, checked in with us, and everything was just as described. Nice location on the wine trail.

My husband and I have stayed here twice now. Love the location and love the loft! It’s so cute, beds are comfy, hot tub and fire pit are great! Steve is quick to respond if we contact him. We will definitely be back.

Great Girls Weekend!

This was the cutest little loft apartment for our girls trip! Had a great time and loved the firepit and hottub!! Great location and close to 3 wineries! The host Steven was very helpful with any questions or problems we had, would definitely stay again!

Central Location for all interests

In the area for a wedding. Close to The Venue, several surrounding vineyards, fruit farms, trails, and outdoor activities. 7 minutes to Cobden, 17 Anna/ Jonesboro, 20 to Murphysboro or Carbondale. Beautiful area and perfect amenities. Comfy

Alto Pass IL - Wine Trail

Brian was a great host. Always available to answer any questions. The building was wonderful! The patio, outdoor lights and hot tub were an extra plus. We brought our Coleman grill with for dinners. Plenty of kitchen supplies. My adult kids were very happy to see the wine glasses. Highly recommend Brian as a super host.

Great place to stay!

This place has two nice-sized bedrooms, comfy leather furniture in the living space, and ample space throughout. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and just a few steps out the sliding door on the secluded deck. The water pressure is good in the shower. The four of us had plenty of fluffy towels for the hot tub and the shower. The floors are a little creaky but expected in an old building. The location is great - just down the street from the bourbon bar (serves more than bourbon), and right on the wine trail. There is also a fairly flat trail nearby that is an easy walk. My husband and two teens had a good time and plan to stay here again.

Very nice set up. Close to the bourbon bar and Alto Winery, which was very cool. The beds need a upgrade but they were ok, everything else was great.

Great Place to Stay

We were in the area for a wine tasting event and found the Alto Pass Wine Trail Loft to be the perfect place to stay. The rental was comfortable and well equipped and the location was perfect.

Absolutely perfect! The place is spacious, clean, stylish, comfy and classy! We are already planning a return! We visited Owl Creek, Also Pass and Von Jakob wineries, Flam's orchard and Alto Clay Works all so very close! I recommend hitting all those spots! The bar across the street looked very nice but we ran out if time and saved it for the next time! Don't hesitate to book this gem!

Really enjoyed this rental! Plenty of space for the 2 of us, great location for the wine trail, really enjoyed the hot tub. Space was updated and well stocked, very clean. Would recommend this to a couple or small family looking for a rental in this part of the state.

Great rental in the Shawnee Forest

Great rental! Clean, well stocked, the kind of place that is even nicer than the pictures. If you want to visit the Shawnee Forest for hiking, wine tasting, or need a place near SIU, this is a great choice

Great place!

Property manager was very communicative when we had something come up last minute. Excellent customer service! Property was very clean, and well decorated. Several locations for food are very close, at least 1-2 in walking distance with good food.

Nice rental

We were visiting family. Enjoyed the stay. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Beds were just ok. We are in our 60ies and would have like higher, softer beds. All around a nice place to stay.

Great stay in Alto Pass!

We had a great stay and the property exceeded our expectations! The hot tub and fire pit are great, beds are comfortable, little extras like a snack basket and toiletries were a nice surprise, plus the location is ideal. Easy to get to hiking, wineries and restaurants! So relaxing and the perfect weekend getaway!

Lovely base for exploring the area

This place, #5, has everything you need! A stocked kitchen and a patio with hot tub and propane fire pit are bonuses! 2 bedrooms (to note that the french doors don't seal off completely or lock).
