"What a lovely experience to be in a restored 11th century castle. The restaurant has a limited menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything is homemade including pastas and local cheese production. Italian meats are made during the slow season by the workers at the hotel. The view of the valley from the back door of the dining room is spectacular. This is a hidden jewel in Calabria. "

They even picked us up at the train station in Paola and drove us to attractions we wanted to see! We couldn’t have asked for better service and a better experience. "The property is a big mansion with lots of rooms so it’s like a B&B style . The couple of the house were very great with me. The night that I came I was late. The man stayed up to open the gate for me to come in with my car. They cook the breakfast for me in their kitchen. The room was nice , had a pool and a nice view from up top of the mountains . "

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing!
