"Accueil déplorable. Annonce pour 6 personnes eau chaude pour 2.WIFI en sus (25). Literie vétuste et très inconfortable. TV ne fonctionne pas. Linge de toilette qui sent "le mal séché" Nous avons écourté notre séjour. Franchement je ne recommande pas"

"The owner was very helpful in responding to us. We enjoyed the quiet location where we could relax and do laundry when we weren't spending time with our friends nearby. We did bring our own toilet paper to supplement what was left in the house and we paid a bit extra to have bedding and towels provided. All in all, it was a very desirable location. Our children liked the proximity to a beach and the nearby market."

Der wunderbare Blick auf das Meer, den man beim Essen auf der Terrasse genießen kann, die Ruhe, die super ausgestattete Küche, Betten in denen man bequem schlafen kann und ein Gastgeber, der sich so rührend um seine Gäste kümmert, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe, sind nur die wichtigsten Punkte! "The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided."

"Really nice modern apartment in an ancient building. Comfortable queen bed, nice bathrooms, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea that's perfect for a sunset glass of wine. There are several excellent restaurants and bars less than two minutes' walk from the property, and a handful more within 5 minutes' drive. One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues, you will have difficulty getting up the lengthy exterior steps and the interior spiral staircase between floors. We found it...

"What a lovely experience to be in a restored 11th century castle. The restaurant has a limited menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything is homemade including pastas and local cheese production. Italian meats are made during the slow season by the workers at the hotel. The view of the valley from the back door of the dining room is spectacular. This is a hidden jewel in Calabria. "

"The hotel was great from the food to the service. Everyone was very kind and treated us like family. They even picked us up at the train station in Paola and drove us to attractions we wanted to see! We couldn’t have asked for better service and a better experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting this area with their loved ones. "

Big mansion, B&B style

"The property is a big mansion with lots of rooms so it’s like a B&B style . The couple of the house were very great with me. The night that I came I was late. The man stayed up to open the gate for me to come in with my car. They cook the breakfast for me in their kitchen. The room was nice , had a pool and a nice view from up top of the mountains . "

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "
