"This is a small hotel ranged over four floors with a library / bar next to reception. The style is classic: plain painted walls on which hang antique mirrors, lights, prints and oils. This extends to the bedrooms - ours had a French antique desk and carved chairs. The service is understated and friendly. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast in the garden. "

"Very nice hotel overall. A little disappointing that the “view” out of the windows was an inner rooftop area of blank walls. Also, small things such as a cheap coffee maker in the room and no shower lotion soap, just bar soap. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the lobby is very nice. "

"We stayed here twice on our trip, and we felt like family almost immediately. The front desk staff were wonderful, Josh made mom and I feel like family. Martina and Inga in the dining room were lovely as well. It’s close to everything, and there’s a wonderful restaurant across the street that served the most amazing white asparagus. I highly recommend this hotel. And don’t forget to try the pretzels!"

"Location is perfect. You are right in the historic area. Tons of restaurants and shopping. Taxi stand on the next block. Also a block away from The Residence. Only thing I’d say is Munich is a party city so out on the street it can be loud pretty late. Ask for a high up room. "

"This is a clean, quiet, safe hotel. It was a spacious room for Europe. Only complaint would be the stairs. It says there is an elevator and there is but you have to take several steps to get to it. Six steps to get to reception, 10 to get to the elevator then stops between floors so you have to go up or down 10 stairs to your room. So if you are like me who travels heavy it’s a pain with suite cases. It was very clean and breakfast was good. "
