Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

"My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of Amalfi was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful and always bent over backwards to make us happy. We must give a shoutout to the pastry chef for breakfast. We really enjoyed all the special treats."

"Great location and nice, tidy room. The balcony was big enough to sit and people watch over the square. Breakfast was simple but delicious - more than enough. The only downside was that you couldn’t turn off the air conditioner. It was quite cold through the night but there were blankets so it was ok."
Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi

"Everyone working here was delightful and such a help when needed; easy to understand. Breakfast was a large spread of many different items, including some gf items if needed. There was an espresso maker and a water fountain to use. Our room was renovated, so very updated and wow what a view!! All the comforts you need. The pool was very refreshing; I will say it didn’t look deep on the pictures but it definitely is!! Such a very nice pool and again the view was amazing! The pool bar was an extra bonus! The hotel shuttles were such a nice amenity. We were able to get all the timeslots we needed and is about a 10 min drive each way. It’s quite an adventure! A lot of switchbacks and elevation but I never felt unsafe; these drivers are very experienced! The beach was so beautiful and fun to get to through a grotto and 2 elevators. Amenities were beach bar and restroom with nice chairs. The beach is very rocky so make sure you bring some kind of water shoes. I wore my teva sandals. Wonderful hotel and very much recommend!!"

"Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The staff were incredibly helpful with so many things, including recommendations and restaurant bookings. The hotel was incredibly clean and we loved the honesty bar concept. The breakfast was great and i love the fact it is brought fresh to your room"

"This was the most gorgeous hotel and we had such a lovely stay here. The pool is truly spectacular, set right in the cliff. The beach club was so special... we didn't want to leave! The lounge chairs were very comfortable and you could order drinks and food to your chairs. They have a swimming area roped off and you can swim in the sea. The hotel was beautifully decorated in an art deco style. The staff were so kind and pleasant to work with. The buffet breakfast was so delicious and had beautiful views. I loved this hotel!"
