"The room was nice, the view was great. Breakfast (with lots of variety) on the balcony was a lot of fun with the seagulls :).
The parking, though, is a problem. You park at a farther point, not right by the hotel (as there's no parking space nearby). Even though we stayed less than 24 hours (came at around 6:00pm and left at around noon the next day), we were asked to be charged for 2 days worth! This was not communicated clearly ahead of time either."

We were only able to stay here for one nice and wish it was at least a week. Amalfi is absolutely stunning with postcard views everywhere you look. There was a misunderstanding with the reservation and Vincenzo was more than gracious to accommodate and for the one night we were there we felt at home. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best I've seen with so many delicious choices along with cappuccino made to order. Will definitely return to Residenza Luce as soon as possible!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at La Bambagina in Amalfi, Italy. The four-night stay was delightful, thanks to the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, Federica and Giovanna. They helped us with restaurants, museums, and beach club recommendations, provided a fascinating history of Amalfi, and even arranged transport for us. We loved this place and the location was great! The AC was quiet and kept us comfortable all night long.
The video the owner sent was extremely helpful so we did not get lost finding our way to the B&B.

A nice boutique hotel owned by a family. Super friendly staff on site. Away from Amalfi city if you want a peaceful and quiet place to relax but not much going on near hotel unless you drive to Amalfi or to the nearby beach. The bus stop is nearby but wait time is long. Overall it is still a good choice for us.

Christian was extremely helpful and responsive. The "90 steps" property was wonderful. The shower was the first, big, good water pressure, plenty of hot water shower I've had to date in Italy.
The place has style, charm and it perfectly located in Amalfi. If you don't like the 90 steps then you probably won't like the Amalfi coast as every town is the land of stairs.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everyone was very kind and very helpful. The location is the best in the city right in front of the Cathedral. The family of the owners have a restaurant right in front on the square and we had a great meal there.

Two days at Hotel Lidomare in July 2016. Hotel location was excellent. Family room was sufficient size for us and our 2 college student children. Much of our room-time was spent on the balcony overlooking the Amalfi coast road and the harbor. Building is old, but has a character that comes only from time. Staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a relaxing experience in a charming town set in costal Italian paradise, this is your choice.

The location is amazing. Our room faced the cathedral and you see the beauty of it at all times. You are located in the main square, it is noisy. The hotel has a great great restaurant ,rooftop. Excellent service wonderful food. Overall awesome. Please consider: many stairs to climb no elevator. Pack light you cannot drive up to the front door.

Only 6 rooms, the hotel is family run by two brothers who are super welcoming and make a guest feel pampered. Midway up the hill from the shore, you climb a short set of stairs for a 50 second elevator ride and another staircase. The outdoor terrace gives a view to the sea and the town of Amalfi. My room was large, clean and nicely decorated boasting the largest tv screen I ever had in a European hotel. Bathroom was large with a jetted tub and a generous supply of toiletries. I would definitely...
