"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

"The food was 10/10 at this resort. Everyday there was a fresh spread, the hotel smelt beautifully, and the staff was kind. Daria at the front desk really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The beds were on the softer side, and a bit uncomfortable but more pros than cons!"

"Was a pleasant stay. Rooms cleaned daily and the great views on a pretty corner of the island. Thrilled to have had the beautiful experience in seeing the sunrise daily from the veranda of my room. Ample food choice from buffet but became bland and repetitive if staying over a week. No alternatives nearby outside the hotel. Staff lovely and attended to one or two hiccups immediately. ie. A lesson to use the shower and to fix the safe midway through my stay. All in all a pleasant stay."

"Beautiful, clean spacious hotel, if you're looking for quality food high end restaurant and fine dining this is the best choice hotel, set in a great location, right on the beach, choice of villas and apartments with private pool, or room with a swim up pool, or just room without pool. Staff are brilliant, speak excellent English, such wonderful helpful staff, first time to Crete and would definitely return to this Crete and this hotel. Grecotel has its own farm which is included in the package, great trip to see how they produce local olive oil, honey, they provide you with many courses during the visit with delicious food and wine. The beds in the hotel and pillows are so comfortable, the rooms are spotless and room service every day, you have a fridge in your room which is replenished every day with soft drinks, tea and coffee facilities, beach towel and bath towels changed daily. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. The drinks available are branded and good quality, staff behind the bar are efficient as are the staff around the pool, offering you drinks and snacks when required. Young children's pool and activities which is all shaded, 2 main pools with plenty of shade and sunbeds, some in the water which is a lovely treat. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful, they want to please. Gym and sauna available onsite which looked modern, nice shop onsite The main dining room which is self serve had choice and great quality. Perfect All inclusive"

"We had a cave room which had everything we wanted. The only gripe I had was the pillows. I prefer feather but I know this is a personal choice. The staff were kind, obliging and our cleaner did a great job every day. We did have a few meals in the restaurant which were al a carte and so very nice. The views were wonderful from our pool and the whole holiday was chilled, peaceful and calming."
