I honestly don’t recommend this hotel. It’s just a good location and clean and thats it. It’s extremely loud and there’s no A/c in second room, we couldn’t sleep the whole night because of heat. Breakfast doesn’t include. I’m not coming back to this hotel.

I don't buy into the negative reviews about Elina Hotel and Apartments. These are likely outdated, as we spent 8 nights here and didn't experience any problems. The superior apartment was bright, spacious and clean, with a good shower and good air conditioning. Despite being next to a busy road, the windows had good sound protection, so we were not bothered by any noise from outside. The reception staff were always polite and helpful. Our room was cleaned every 2 or 3 days, and it was easy to change towels or top up on bathroom accessories between cleans. The location is absolutely ideal, being 5 minutes walk from a superb beach and 5 minutes walk from the start of the Old Town, there are dozens of local amenities, including supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and bars, all within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to access the beach, lots of shopping, and lots of dining and drinking establishments. Very walkable. Lucked out and got street parking a couple blocks away the first day, but had to do pay parking at the marina the second day. Reception staff Alex extremely helpful with calling the lost and found at Heraklion airport to try and navigate my missing suit case, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was ok, options for myself and my husband who are vegetarian. Young lady who manages the buffet appears to be very hardworking. Would return on future trips.

Hôtel très bien placé dans rethymnon, autant pour une balade en ville que pour la plage. Les chambres sont propres et le ménage est fait tous les jours. La literie est de bonne qualité. La petite kitchenette est pratique si on n’a pas forcément envie d’aller au restaurant ni de payer pour le petit déjeuner. Des places de parking gratuites autour de l’hôtel mais il faut faire preuve de patience selon l’heure. Les petits moins : - la climatisation n’est que dans la chambre, pas dans l’espace de vie - la piscine est petite - le mobilier est un peu vieillot mais c’est le cas dans beaucoup d’hôtels Nous avons passé un très bon séjour :)

Good location, ideal for a short stay

The Elina Apartments are in a good location near the beach but also close to the old town. It was about a 20 minute walk from the bus station along a straight road. The down stairs bar was obviously a hang out for men who like to watch sport! Across the road there was a nice bakery which was idea for breakfast. The apartment was clean, a nice shower with basic equipment for cooking. It was good value for money and suited out needs well.

Praktisches Hotel in Strand- und Stadtnähe

Unkompliziertes und sehr freundliches Check-In. Zuerst wurde uns ein Zimmer ohne Balkon, Richtung Strasse zugewiesen. Auf unsere Frage nach einem anderen Zimmer (mit Balkon und nach hinten) wurde spontan und unkompliziert reagiert. Dorthin konnten wir nach ein paar Tagen ziehen. Es wurde jeden Tag geputzt, jedoch etwas oberflächlich resp. um die Gegenstände rum. Im zweiten Zimmer hatten wir ein toll renoviertes Bad. Leider klemmte aber die Duschwand und das Wasser rann wegen schlechter Abdichtung links und rechts raus, so dass es jedes Mal eine kleine Überschwemmung gab. Wir fühlten uns aber wohl und haben nichts mehr gebraucht als das Angebotene.
