"A very stylishly decorated and cosy, quiet retreat within a pretty village, a very short distance from the Oxford park and ride scheme at Thornhill. A treat to stay here. The owner provided some very helpful sightseeing tips, and left some thoughtful treats for us, including some Halloween chocolates on the doorstep for our teenagers on 31st Oct. The only downside was the heavy duty bolt on the OUTSIDE of the main bedroom door - not great for anyone of a claustrophobic disposition! Thanks again...

"Beautiful cottage, very clean and well maintained. The steps in the garden are very steep so you’ll need to take care. The cottage is in a great location for exploring and the village has a variety of eateries and delicious take aways to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this cottage."

"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...
