"Very peaceful place that backs up to a wooded area. The Calf Pen was very clean, plenty of room and has many comforts of home! Glen, the owner, lives on the property but is respectful of your space while being available to answer questions or for a friendly chat. The deck is a wonderful spot to enjoy the sounds of nature and visits from Glen's chickens."

"Loved everything about the place. Exactly as represented, in a really cool and relatively quiet neighborhood. If stairs bother you then that might be the only downside as the inner staircase is pretty steep but has excellent railings and safety glass."

"We had a great stay while skiing for 2 days at nearby Catamount ski resort. The kitchen and house were fully stocked with all essentials. Netflix access enabled us to enjoy a family movie after a long day of skiing. Cozy house and quiet area.......nice to wake up to hear birds chirping!!"

"Very nicely renovated house. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Large comfy living and dining room. Very responsive hosts. Only suggestion would be to provide a few more hooks in the bathrooms for guests to hang personal things (night clothes, used towels, etc.). I would highly recommended this place."

"Our family had the pleasure of staying at this home during our child’s graduation from the nearby Berkshire school. It was the perfect situation for us in an idyllic setting very close to the campus. The home is over 250 years old and has been lovingly updated. "This is a beautiful older home and I loved its charm. The wrap around porch is so quaint. However, the listing mentioned steep staircase but not to the extent that it was actually unsafe for my elderly parents. You can literally step out of the bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor and tumble down the stairs as the stairs don’t match up to the doorways. There is a bedroom on the 1st floor but the bed is pushed against the all so again my mother couldn’t get out. Also there are only 2 claw foot...
