Top Ameushi Falls Hotel Reviews

Kamenoi Hotel Aso Park Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Family friendly . Buffet dinner was delicious and wide spread . Staff were friendly and patience"

Solest Takachiho Hotel

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel Local restaurants closed by 8 pm or low capacity, difficult to find a place for dinner A bar would have been a good facility to relax in during the evening Great few days"

Yufuin Onsen Toshoan

10/10 Excellent

"Boutique bed and breakfast type facility. Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Please keep in mind is a small cozy hotel. There isn't too much amenities but staff was great with what they offer. If you are looking for a nice place to relax with a beautiful mountain backdrop this is the place to be."

Kamenoi Hotel Aso

10/10 Excellent

"Kamenoi is a large resort that offers great breakfast and dinner, large indoor and outdoor baths, friendly staff"

Rakuten STAY VILLA Yufuin Onsen

10/10 Excellent

"Fully remote/self service. Check in was through a screen. Love the property and amenities. Wish our stay was longer"

Kurokawa Onsen Ryokan Wakaba

8/10 Good

"Liked: Large rooms Did not like: Rigid dining schedule. Food, while plentiful and tasty, was served at a fast pace as the time available for dinner is limited. Private onsen not worthwhile -- water very hot and space cramped. No after dinner option to socialize. Bar very limited and closes (hard close) at 9 pm. Upon asking what people do in the evening we were told-- Onsen (bathe)! It is not everyone's preference to take a hot bath after dinner."

Gekkoju Kurokawa

10/10 Excellent

"It was the perfect gateway into our Ryokan/onsen experience with beautiful & spacious accommodations in a super private and relaxing setting. Having our own onsen with view of the mountains was an absolute dream after a week in the big cities. The attentive staff were exceptional and brought dinner to our room that we cooked over the coals for a unique experience. Overall an incredible retreat to come back to after a busy day of onsen hopping. Truly a first class experience!"

Yusai Bekkan

10/10 Excellent

"Clean and spacious traditional style room. Toilet was somehow a bit too small though, not particularly comfortable to use. Basin (for hand washing after using toilet) was then on the other side of the room which was a bit inconvenient. Hot spring facilities were at a different building (much newer and modern) which were 2 mins walk away. That was a slight problem when it was raining heavily when we were there. Parking was not great for our bigger car (RAV4 size type SUV). Tight space and lot of guests made parking very difficult. During golden week, when we stayed there, dining options at night were very limited in nearby regions."

Kurasako Onsen Sakura

10/10 Excellent

"Kind, helpful staff, with a lovely cozy cabin including our own private onsen tub! The grill set and the chance to bring ingredients and cook or own meals on the private terrace made the stay so special and memorable."
