The staff were very helpful, especially Gech who organised all my tours while I was there. I felt completely at ease with him organising everything.

"This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! "
"One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was barren with fluorescent lighting that made it feel like a prison. It is old and falling apart. There was no hot water. The lock on the door fell into pieces and I was trapped in the room. At 7:30 p.m. the dining room and bar were deserted and the place felt like it was the setting for a Stephen King novel. Breakfast was inedible. The only redeeming feature was the staff who were friendly and apologetic for all of the problems. Microphones from the nearby church started chanting at 2:00 a.m. and went non-stop through the morning. This place is an embarrassment to the Haile hotel chain."
"Great service, huge villas, traditional dishes were very good. WiFi is so-so and only available in reception and restaurant. Nice big pool if you’re there when it’s hot enough. Hot water and huge showers. Incredible views and beautiful landscaping. "
