Location is perfect! Can really get along the city well and see a lot. Building is older and the rooms are small but it really is ideal for a home base for a weekend. Will be returning

This hotel is in an excellent location. It’s very basic with small rooms. The proprietor was very nice and accommodating. They offer a 17.50 € breakfast which was very nice. The facade of the building is beautiful with live hanging flower baskets and it is right in a canal.

Great location. We walked everywhere. Our hotel room had a very comfortable bed, was clean, breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant. The building is old and quaint. We had a beautiful view of the canal. The hotel does need refurbishing. The bathrooms need a full gut and flooring needs to be replaced. There was peeling paint on the window frames.

Older hotel, but nostalgic. Great location, walkable to shops and sites. Room 11 wasn’t huge, but does it need to be? We were not there for the hotel other than to sleep - and the bed was comfortable. We had a canal view. You do hear the partiers across the canal at a tavern. And apparently other people staying in the hotel didn’t think it was disrespectful to let their room door slam. Friendly keeper. I would stay again.

The hotel is a perfect location … very old and quaint. However needs some upgrading and maintenance. Similar to a hostel …but clean sheets and duvet / so perfect. If you are looking for someplace close and walkable to city center - and only use your room to sleep - perfect.

The staff was very courteous and welcoming. The room was small with steep stairs but it did have an elevator. The location was convenient and many sites are walkable. There was some street noise but I found it manageable.
