The accommodation is in a fantastic location right beside the ferry and the Adam building with the swings. As I was staying with my children it probably wasn’t suitable for us as it was so noisy with screaming students at night in the corridor. There is a curfew at 11.30but it was really draining. The staff did have a word with them but I feel I should of considered it when booking but otherwise is was amazing value for money and the staff were helpful Thankyou
Good Location, nice Vibe.
But the Windows cannot be opened, and the ventilation system did not work. The Air in the Room was bad. We stayed 4 nights, we let the reception know from the first day but nothing happened.
Otherwise, nice hostel, modern and new.

Stayed in a row in the basement (4 bed quad), the bathroom and showers had a musty smell to the point the hallway bathrooms and showers were bigger and nicer. Rooms are ok considering the price you are paying, be aware it might be on the tighter space so opening and packing luggage may be difficult. Highlights of the place are cold & hot water fountains, foosball table, nightly events & lots of open seating to socialize or for a change of scenery. Location is pretty great, only a quick 5 min ferry ride from Amsterdam Centraal (the ferry is very frequent - every 5 mins and runs 24/7). Rooms have AC but can still run warm as it’s not that strong. Laundry is available on the 1st floor for €5 per machine (so €10 for both wash and dry). Beware that towels aren’t provided but they can be rented for €6.

The staff was for the most part nice.
Otherwise the room was very small. The toilet did not have a working soap dispenser. I had to use the shower to wash hands. The room was also very small. Which made it difficult when getting ready in the morning and having room for luggage.
The best part was the location, which was near the Central station through one stop with the ferry.
There is a lift in the hostel, but still some stairs in the main entrance, in which you have to carry your bag.
Pros: Good rooms, great service, decent food, great common areas and activities to meet people.
Cons: breakfast was a letdown but I understand it's a hostel and not the Marriot but €9 for THAT, nah.
Great place with activities and a social environment

We stayed in a private family room with ensuite. Look, the hostel itself is great! Had a lovely girl check us in which set a welcoming tone. We had low expectations of the actual room and it matched our expectations. Utilitarian rooms that serve a purpose, sleep and shower. The bathroom was a bit yuck but ok. We all slept pretty good. Surprisingly well behaved backpackers, no drunken noise - different to my generation! My kids aged 12 & 14 felt safe. Ferry across from Amsterdam station was super easy, convenient and it runs 24/7 at no cost. Supermarket behind hostel. Washing facilities available but didn’t use as it was always busy. The most affordable accommodation in the whole of Amsterdam and I do recommend it for short stays with family.
Loved my time in the clink. Staff was incredibly friendly, breakfast was great and affordable, and the common spaces were really fun. Totally recommend
The staff are simply the best - friendly and cheerful - while also being helpful and courteous. The common space is large and well-designed, with many small pockets of activities to engage in. It has a great balance of little cozy nooks to relax in, lounges for small groups, spaces for families with kids as well as large groups, and little workspaces for those on business. There's also a turf-covered atrium for a little cardio or yoga. Its location - walkable from Amsterdam Central Station - makes it ideal for not just trips around the city, but also for short trips around the city, or for a transit in Amsterdam on your way to the rest of Europe.
