Beautiful hotel right on the canal with plenty of shopping and food nearby. The flower market is very close by as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, a nice size with hardwood floors, which is so much cleaner than carpet. Highly recommend this property

Staying at Hotel Franke was a major highlight of our Amsterdam trip. We had a 2 year old and the team was so accommodating - they helped move our suitcases up and down, and also provided fantastic recommendations of things to do. I would highly recommend this not just for the amazing location, but also the wonderful staff and great amenities.

I lived it. The room was lovely and modernized for such an old building. Location was perfect downtown in the middle of everything. Only issue, be prepared for some steep winding stairs on upper floors. Staff was very kind and handled the luggage.

This is the second time that we have stayed here and just like the first time, it did not disappoint! Staff are so friendly and helpful!! Rooms and clean and have great amenities. Location is perfect and it never feels too busy but it’s also super close to everything you need! Anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Amsterdam, I would recommend this hotel! I am certain that we be back!

The customer service was excellent! Every time we came back to the hotel, it felt like coming home as there was always a welcome and a smile. This is a very old hotel, however, it has been kept up and it was beautiful. I loved the fact that it was right off of the canal. The staff arranged a cab to come to pick us up which was very nice. I was very pleased with this hotel.

We loved this hotel Massimo, was the best host and very kind and considerate with us. He made our stay very special. Super clean, very comfortable bed, nice shower. The only detail is that the stairs are a bit steep, but I think it is a norm in the majority of antique homes in Amsterdam. We will definitely consider this hotel when we come back to Amsterdam Thank you
