Hotel Jesse is a good spot to stay in with friends, or if you’re solo. I wouldn’t exactly recommend it if traveling with family, but the private room was big enough to accommodate a family. I was a little disappointed that it had no air conditioning, but they provided a fan for us to use and it wasn’t bad at all. Overall me and my friends had a nice stay in Hotel Jesse and would recommend it to those who need a place to stay for a couple days
Standard hostel. I had a long layover and was there for just a few hours nap so can’t offer much in terms of a review. Walkable to restaurants, train station, etc. and tram 17 drops you off right in front.
*You will need a cash 10 Euro key fob deposit at check-in.

Hotel was friendly and adequate for our purpose of 1 night stay. Maybe traveller to be aware the steps are steep. Apart from that eddy was great. Very knowledgeable of the Dam.
The stairs to the accomodation are heritage and therefore they can’t change them so they are steep and small. Very hard to navigate big bags up and yourself after a night out. We chose to pay at the property and they took money off our card before even getting to the property on the day. The rooms are adequate. The same for the bedding and the pillows feel like they’re half stuffed. It was in an okay location, tram stop right out the front and plenty of things to walk to close by. I probably wouldn’t stay there again
Reception during check-in and check-out was super nice—thank you for being so friendly and welcoming! I stayed on the 3rd floor (actually the 4th floor). Although the steep, narrow steps were a mission, they are typical of local architecture and should be seen as a cultural experience rather than a North American "accessibility issue"—if you need an elevator, are obese, or dislike narrow, steep, winding stairs, this place isn't for you. The six-person, three-bunk room felt spacious, and each bed had a locker with a key (10-euro deposit, returned upon return). I had the top bunk facing the window, and the electric socket was a bit far, but it was a minor inconvenience. The bed was clean, and the sheets were fresh. The shower was hot, especially nice after walking in the rain. The washroom door didn't have much space when opened and was close to my knees when sitting on the toilet—a potential issue for anyone 170 cm (5'7") or taller. I shared the room with five other lads who were friendly and professional. Overall, a proper hostel experience. I usually stay at the Heart of Amsterdam for its proximity to RDL and Centraal, but Hotel Jesse is now my new favourite!

We enjoyed our stay, though the steep stairs are difficult for anyone with bad knees.
Our room was small but adequate for our three days.

The room is tiny and no curtains, so anyone can see you sleep not very private at all. The bathroom and showers very dirty. The stairs going up and down is so tiny and Dangerous not recommended for Disability people.
I stayed in the hostel portion of the hotel/hostel.
Just be mindful that they have a cash preferred
10€ keyfob rental
10€ umbrella rental
Communal washroom / shower per floor.
Decent amount of electrical plugs & lockers in the rooms.
First time in Amsterdam and didnt no what to expect with it being a hotel/hostel but we had no problems i would book here again if i was to come back and if people ask where to stay i would say jesse

Not bike backpacker friendly, arrived for my first night in Holland and was told off by staff for having my bike next to the hostel with no nearby parking.
Breakfast menu posted all throughout lobby but no breakfast available.
Actually the worst place we’ve ever stayed. No space with 120 sqft room shared by 4 with bags. Rude staff. Paid for 2 nights, left after 1. Not sure why it has “hotel” in name- it is a hostel. Loud walking in floor above us until 2am. Look elsewhere for better value.
Owner wanted cash only and coincidentally my cards wouldn’t work in the machine until I insisted it was her issue not my card. Felt like a scam. Cramped rooms. Not that clean. Really steep stairs.

Genel durum
Oda çok küçük ve havasızdı. Tuvalette rahatsız edici bir koku vardı. Manzara ve merkezi olması avantajdı.
