Went to Amsterdam last year for our anniversary and stayed at Swissotel. It was such an amazing stay that we had to book them again for my birthday this year! The staff are very nice, special thanks to Fabrizio who's such a treat and so friendly! Will be staying at the hotel again next time we're back in Amsterdam 😊

Property is conveniently located in centre near Dam Square and within walking distance of Amsterdam Central rail station. My room was in the second floor and was clean, well equipped, had a great walk in shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast is also of a high standard with many hot and cold offerings. Staff in main reception are very helpful especially Mark and Rob. Highly recommended.

The best hotel, amazing location! Close to a lot of places waking distance also the rooms were big (US size) and clean. The staff was very kind helping us, they explained us where to get the Uber. I’m sure will come back on my next trip to Amsterdam. I took my kid and she really enjoyed the stay as well.

Wasn't able to check into room until 1515 despite check-in supposedly available from 1500 so wasn't a good start. Room was clean however the sink unit in the bathroom was hanging off the wall which meant any water on the unit would roll off the front and onto the floor. There was also a leak from the bottom of the bath causing more water to leak onto the floor. Also face towels were taken after the first night and never replaced, even after asking reception for more. Very poor for a 4 star hotel. Location is great though, but won't be returning

Great location and hotel in Dam Square. Loved most of the hotel! Only negative was the extreme fishy smell when walking into the lobby on one of the days - assume it came from the kitchen/restaurant. Staff was very helpful. Bed comfortable!

The Swissotel Amsterdam was a lovely place to stay. So central with a tram stop right out the front, and surrounded by hundreds of amazing food vendors. Only short tram rides to museums, Albert Cuyp, the Heineken experience and Jordaan. The staff were extra lovely. The room was a great size and was well air-conditioned for hot days. Would stay again.
