"An amazing hotel a tribute to the rich history of the country. The owners Marco and Ana along with staff Ana and Sergio were the friendliest most attentive ever they made the trip exceptional!!!! They are are also dog friendly and our dog Phoebe was treated like a guest. Stay at this boutique hotel you will see how special it is! Also the breakfast is exceptional!!!! "This property is absolutely brilliant, great to have access to a fully equipped kitchen! Lurdes is a great manager, the whole place is immaculate. What I would highlight to potential guests is that currently there isn't a Metro station within the local vicinity, you have a 20 min walk to Casa Musica. "This is just like a hotel, couldn't fault it really. The basic rooms are a bit smaller, but it worked fine for us (a young couple). The superior rooms are really nice. Everything is lovely and clean and comfortable, bathrooms are great, aircon works well. The terrace is a real bonus and the customer service and staff at the check-in desk were excellent. It's in a great area with plenty of bar and restaurants around, nice to see a new bit of the city which has a good vibe."

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

I got a text message that morning with the details for the stay, not an email so I think this could be why others have had a problem, may rely on roaming. "The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until I’d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isn’t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.) "

"Excellent customer Service with neat and clean property. Closed to Shopping Mall center. Very convenient to go around using Uber or Concierge services. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Except my TV didn't work at all during my stay although I brought it to the attention of staff 3 times since the day I checked in. Each time Maintenance personnel told me that it will be fixed soon, but it never happened Staff should take care of stuff like this especially when guest is staying for 6 nights, otherwise I enjoyed my stay."
