Perfect for the homebase while exploring what the great state of Alaska has to offer. Two blocks from the largest floatplane base in the world. 10 minute drive to most places in anchorage. 2 miles from the airport. Walking distance or a short drive to multiple restaurant's . Let your adventure begin here.

    There are 2 bedrooms. One with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twin beds. There is a full kitchen with all the essentials for preparing your own meals. Dining room has seating for 4. Wow! What a great place! House was clean and updated. Parking is off street and neighborhood is safe. Super close to the airport (5 minute drive). House is close to airport so you will hear planes taking off and landing (we liked it!). Brian was very responsive. We added a night last minute and Brian accommodated us without a problem. Our best stay in Alaska!

This was a great find. This is my fifth year staying in Vrbo lodging in Anchorage and this was my favorite. Clean and simple decoration but very comfortable. Brian kindly bought some coffee and left it for us which is going above and beyond.

Nice place

The house is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It felt like home hearing the smaller planes landing and taking off from Lake Hood. And, it's conveniently located near the airport, restaurants and parks.

Family trip to Alaska

We really enjoyed our stay at Klamath house. The location was great. We loved watching the seaplanes take off and land! The home was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed plus extras that made our stay more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything about the Klamath House by the lake was excellent. Close to the airport, good restaurants nearby, nice areas to walk around the lake area, and convenient to downtown excursions or outdoor activities. The host was great to deal with and the house was clean and well kept. I would stay here again for sure.

Klamath House was the perfect spot for a 2 night stay in Anchorage following our Alaskan cruise. The home was clean and comfortable and only a mile from the airport. There were a few local restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance and downtown is only a short Uber ride away. The host was very responsive and accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Would definitely stay here again.
