"Location - it was in a quiet area of Collette and very close to the beach. Loved how there was a grass area at the back so we set up badminton for the kids to play when they had enough time at the beach.Cleanliness of the property - well...when we got there the floors felt sticky, the was sand on the floors and in the bathrooms, there were crumbs on the dining table, chairs and the mat underneath the dinning table/area. Luckily, there was a great Miele Vacuum cleaner so we spent some time cleaning the house. We had spent about 3 hours driving and to then have to vacuum was not something we expected. Also, the bedding...maybe rotating the doonas and pillows would be something to incorportate. We thought the problem was the doona cover and pillow cases, which the property manager organised quickly. But the doona in the upstairs bedroom smelt quite bad, someone had obviously slept with the doona under their armpit. The two pillows in the master bed room did not smell any better. The rest of the residence was a bit dusty with some cobwebs.Considering the price of the accommodation I was not anticipating these problems...until I read previous reviews and it is obviously not a new problem. Besides the cleanliness issues it was a nice stay."

"We had a great stay at this property. The place is exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and with beautiful water views. The location is excellent, especially for families with kids, with easy access to the beach and plenty of space to relax.A special mention to the host, who was extremely helpful. We had an issue with our car at checkout, and they kindly lent us jumper cables so we could get going again. That level of support really made a difference and was greatly appreciated.Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily recommend this property to others."

"The coffee machine was able to be used as no pods in Nelsons Bay were compatible. They eventually replaced the machine after I purchased4 different pod makers"

"This property was perfect for a girls weekend away. We did have a issue with the hot water on the first night and it wasn’t fixed until 3pm the next day which was disappointing but overall a great place "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a family of 9 adults and 2 children gathering from around the world for the first time. The house was perfect for this with the various living annd break out areas, kids’ toys games and books and access to the beach where when using the kayaks we were surrounded several times by curious gentle dolphins. The kitchens are well appointed and the barbecue very useful. Good luck working out how to use the microwave. We gave up even using the instructions! We were able to walk to the Anchorage one night for a fabulous dinner and the playground a few metres away came in very handy. The beds are super comfortable and the outdoor area perfect for all our meals at this time of the year. We would definitely return."
