"We travel to SLC a couple times/year & stay in different places . This has been the best stay yet & we would recommend this hotel. The nitpicky cons: the tv was placed on the wall straddling the bedroom & the sitting area…not great viewing for either location, the bathroom is tiny; you have to step to the other side of the toilet to close the door, the water pressure is not great, the closet is in a very awkward location & the door will not open all the way making it difficult to access the whole closet, $10 parking/day if you’re not a Hyatt member. The pros: the staff was nice & very helpful, the room is very clean & having a sitting area w/a large sofa makes the stay comfortable, the room was spacious & pleasant, including a king bed w/2 nightstands, large sofa & ottoman, desk & chair, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ceramic mugs, & coffee, hair dryer, ice bucket, 2 real glasses, the bedding is good quality & comfortable w/feather pillows. The breakfast buffet is very nice w/options for all & they alternate items each day. You’ll find hot options of eggs, home fries, oatmeal & alternating meats (bacon, sausage), french toast sticks or waffles, toastable breads, extras like tortillas, cheese, salsa for breakfast burritos, brown sugar, shaved almonds, dried cranberries & raisins for oatmeal, yogurt w/blueberries spread, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, coffees, teas & milks including oat milk & almond milk. A nice buffet that few hotels offer. Would stay again!"

"There was construction ongoing in the lobby. That was awful. Big plastic barriers hung from ceiling to floor to keep the dust from escaping. It didn't work. I felt sorry for the employees who had to work through this disruption. There was no way to know this was going on until you checked in. Just terrible."

"The property is under a remodel which I was not told when I called ahead before I booked, I asked if they had a pool which they said yes and they do not. The air conditioner in the room made a horrible noise all night long. The breakfast was very thin. Overall will never stay here again."

"this is a great hotel. the pool was closed but the sauna and hot tub made up for it. the breakfast was amazing...the chilie (hot sauce) was homemade and there was a bowl of fresh cut up fruit salad."
