Room was nice, modern, comfy, clean, but bathroom needed some TLC - broken toilet flush button, missing towel rail on wall and broken towel hanger in shower. Let the room down. Overall though a good hotel in a convenient location for Wiltshire."

"We loved this adorable cottage! Plenty of room for our family with kids, and it had everything we needed. Excellent communication from the owner. Close to Stonehenge. We had a change in plans on our trip and found this cottage last minute. We wish we had searched in this area before our trip because it would've been great to stay here longer. We would definitely love to stay here again!"

"I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. "The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. This did not bother us. The room was snug with the sofabed mattress open. Beds were comfortable, room was clean - The Expedia listing explicitly said that breakfast was not included in the price, but the George Inn provided us with a beautiful breakfast spread: fresh berries, yogurt, juice, coffee & tea, and a full entree off of their breakfast menu. It was a really nice surprise!"
