I love watching the birds at the feeders and seeing all the wonderful plants bloom. Jan, the hostess, is a steward of wildlife and plant propagation and the gardens are simply beautiful. Lots of little restaurants, wineries, and antique shops nearby."

"Beautiful updated home near the lake with all the kitchen supplies needed for family meals. Laura went above and beyond to make sure our two kids had snacks, games, a fire pit supplies at the property. She really makes the house feel welcoming, including bday sign for my husband! There were also lots supplies and we didn't need to purchase or bring anything additional. The upstairs rooms are warmer than downstairs but equipped with HVAC so can be remedied. "Oakwood Beach is so comfortable you won't want to leave. The view of the lake dominates the house and can be enjoyed both inside and out. Close to so many activities, spotlessly clean, nice mix of old and new furniture, well-stocked kitchen, many places to sit and relax with a good book or to enjoy a private moment.
