Quiet, comfortable mountain cabin in a very isolated setting. The standout experience was having deer come right up and eat out of our hands, which my kids absolutely loved!
Check-in was a breeze and the house had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and watching all the wildlife and birds through the day. We will definitely look at staying here again on future visits.
The home is very comfortable, has everything you need, and is the perfect location for a family getaway. The hot tub is wonderful, and hand feeding the deer was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 recommend; we hope to be back!
We love to ski Angel Fire for location. We've stayed at several places and this checked all the boxes for us. Very clean, had way more amenities than any we've ever stayed. Cozy and the hot tub was so nice.
We really enjoyed being just a little bit out of town so we could enjoy the trees and wildlife! This place did not disappoint. The pictures are accurate it’s really cute just dated. The hot tub was a great bonus after skiing all day.
Our family had an amazing stay and experience. The house was cozy and warm on the cold days. Feeding the deer was a major hi light. The hot tub was clean and fantastic. No complaints at all. Highly recommended!
This was such a quiet and peaceful location with a wonderful deck for enjoying the outdoors. We had a wonderful time watching the deer and birds. The hot tub was very relaxing. The kitchen had everything that we needed too. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful and perfectly tucked into the mountains but close to town and the ski slopes. The amenities were great. The host thought of everything. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to stay here again in the future.
Property managers were great to work with! We really enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, big living room / kitchen area which is well appointed, and seeing the wildlife and beautiful nature surrounding the property. Highly recommend
Exceptional!!! Wonderful place for family and friends. Everything was amazing. Even had 2 days of snow. The whole family had the best Christmas ever. Hope to be back in years to come!!!
If you like being in your own quiet area of the woods with just deer and birds, this is a great place. The deck is very nice. Good beds and bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Responsive host. Overall, a great place.
Beautiful home perfect for 5 to 6 people who want there own bed. Has all the amenities you need. Host was easy to get a hold of. The clean hot tube was perfect after a long day on the slope! Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time at Laviage Lodge. I loved sitting on the deck in the mornings sipping my coffee and watching all of the wildlife start there day. The whole family enjoyed feeding the deer and the weather was perfect. The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed. The host was very accommodating and responded promptly to all of my questions. We recommend, and would definitely stay again.
We were met by 3 majestic elk in the yard! Then the deer came in at least twice a day and the corn is provided to feed them! And the birds that stop by…I don’t ever recall seeing a magpie before! The house was wonderful…the grands had their own space to sleep and hang out. It is such a comfy, cozy place with a well equipped kitchen for the cook! Did I mention the hot tub? The owners are just the best and very communicative and so very thoughtful for all they have put into the place for their guests! It’s all about making the memories with our grands on the slopes and just hanging out in the evenings and this is the perfect place to do just that!
Beautiful retreat away from the grind and the heat.
Our family had a great time while staying at Laviage Lodge. The cabin is very beautiful, relaxing, and properly advertised according to the listing. We were very close to everything offered during the summer season in Angel Fire, NM. Our sons enjoyed multiple days riding the downhill bike park at Angel Fire Resort. Hiking, golfing, and a beautiful short drive to Red River were part of our week's activities. The Cabin was/is extremely clean, well-stocked with every small amenity available should you be in need of something. We had a short internet outage and owner was extremely quick to respond. Turned out to be a provider issue across the valley.
Cabin was well-stocked in every room. The hot tub was extremely clean and relaxing after a tiresome day riding downhill trails. Our family is grateful to the owners and have plans to return in the near future.

This cabin is tucked back off a main road in a very quiet neighborhood. It is very scenic and tons of wildlife visit daily. If you are visiting during winter, you will need a four wheel drive vehicle to get out of the driveway or plan to call up a snowplow to plow and de-icer or something for traction. Our Ford Explorer couldn't get out of the driveway. Once we got to the main neighborhood road, driving was fine.
On to house...this is a lovely, well built home. It has a great porch. The house is well taken care of and has an ample supply of everything you need to cook a meal or lounge about. We really liked the split level design with a bunk room and kids lounge downstairs and two bigger bedrooms on the main floor. All of the showers are on the main floor. Washer & dryer were an awesome amenity to have after skiing. The mudroom area when you first walk in is an asset. Towels were fluffy which was nice. Each room has a dial to control the heater. We didn't figure this out until the last day.
We really enjoyed feeding the deer and birds daily. Tons of whitetail deer visit. No need for a sledding hill. The kids used the streets near the house and the driveway. TVs are all smart tvs and easy to use. Keurig & regular coffee pot. Kitchen is well stocked with basics and cooking necessities.
We did have one problem with the hot tub. The owner was very attentive and took care of the issue. No questions went unanswered. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent place. All the furniture was comfortable. House had everything you could ask for. Hot tub was great and all the wildlife made this trip one of our best. Would definitely stay here again.
My family and I had a great time! The amount of blankets, towels, and utensils was beyond our expectations and really helped in making our stay comfortable. Thank you very much, we definitely would come back!
