"Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. "Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was clean, the grounds were pretty and the staff was pleasant. Booked the hotel for the pool. My 12 year old said the pool was boring and I agree. The pool area environment was plain and not inviting especially for a kid."
