"We appreciated the warm pool and the hot tub! Def the best part of the hotel stay. Lots of kids played our entire stay, but this hotel even had a kid free pool time for adults at the end of the night which I thought was cool. Asking for towels as we were all soaked and dripping in the lobby, leaving puddles into the swimming area was very annoying though, and made a safety concern for anyone entering/exiting that door. The room was okay, I had a buzzy fridge that I drowned out with the AC. The breakfast could've been better. "

"The La Quinta Inn in Ankeny has everything a family needs…..A pool, breakfast, and a safe area. It’s located in an area with plenty of retail and restaurants. It also has a very nice fitness center."

"The sheets on one of the beds was unclean/souled. It had a larger spot on it that definitely showed that the sheets were not changed from the previous guest. When I took the soiled fitted sheet to the front desk to ask for a replacement, I did not even received an apology. Just "Oh"."

"We loved our stay! Large room, clean, friendly staff, beautiful lobby, dining area and a couple side rooms available for conversations, relaxation, games, etc. We travel a lot, this was a treat to stay here! "

"We stayed in early February. My daughter was bitten by bugs during our stay, pediatrician believes they are bed bug bites. Called the hotel to let them know. Was told the General Manager would call me back. It has been multiple days with no one reaching out. The staff while we were on site was fantastic. This had been our second stay at the property. "
