"Really enjoyed our stay and our dinner with friends. Lovely grounds. Nice bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. Gave 4 out of 5 for condition simply because wash basin in room did not drain properly. But I'm sure would have been fixed if we asked. Stayed just one night so no bother. Would go back. "

"Beautiful country setting, host and hostess friendly and very helpful, lovely people, dinning area has sun all round with pastoral views. The nearby village is ancient and interesting with an old church being restored and a castle ruins you can explore. Numerous shops and pubs and restaurants. "

"The whole experience was fabulous. The room was spotless, the service was excellent, the breakfast was just fantastic, couldnt have asked for more. Wooden key cards, signs to not clean our room as wasnt required so safe energy. Towels were lovely. Smiles on the staffs faces "

"The building was magnificent, every room was so grand. We were on the top floor so that was extremely tiring but very wide stairs so that helped. Breakfast was superb. My only criticism was the soap dispensers weren't great. Luckily, we had our own soap so there was no need for us to go up and down those stairs! I must say though, my daughter (obviously, far younger) was fine with the top floor."
