We are so pleased we decided to stay in this hotel. Check in great, staff friendly and helpful, the room is perfectly clean and in good condition, the breakfast also was lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location for train station and then to stroll around the old town.

The property was quaint and well situated. Unfortunately our first room had a very foul smell. We asked to be moved and were accommodated quickly. Parking on street for offloading and paid parkade wasn't too far away. Older property and limited amenities but served the purpose; clean and safe.

Great on-budget option

The staff is extremely nice, and I was surprised to find a Spanish speaker at the reception. Keep in mind that this is not a 5-star hotel. You get what you pay for. You need to use the stairs to get to the reception on the first floor, but it is cozy, right in the city center and within walking distance of an awesome lake.

Good bits and not so good bits but an ok stay

Room fine , breakfast good , entrance not attractive , staff great , top floor rooms are a fire hazard - they should not be used - great location for visiting old village

Charming & clean right at the station

Short overnight stay in Annecy France. The hotel is right at the train station. It’s a charming old building and despite appearances the rooms are modern and extremely clean. The staff are super friendly and the price is very good for the location. They have an excellent breakfast or there is a patisserie down-stairs if you just want to grab a snack. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and each time it has been very pleasant. Highly Recommend for the budget traveller.

Cozy and memorable small hotel in the middle of the city located near the old town and markets. It the smallest elevator in the world and the most serviceminded staff there is. We have had a nice stay for 4 days, and enjoyed Annecy and Chamonix this time, using Hotel Des Alpes ad a base. Recommended

It certainly helped that I LOVED Annecy! Less than 5 minute walk to the old town which is so pretty - flowers, the canal, the restaurants and shops, the lake. The staff at this simple hotel was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was pretty bare bones but exactly what I wanted. No aircon but I was able to stay relatively cool with the window open at night. Woke in the morning to the smell of freshly baked croissant and the cooing of pigeons on a nearby roof line. I had a car so was able to make an easy trip up to Geneva for a day on and around Lake Geneva. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. (parking garage with discount just a block away.)

we offered at check-in the breakfast by worker on check-in in front of 2 witnesses but instead, at check out was billed 22 euros. the checkout refused to acknowledge her error and made a sad scene in front of 5 other clients. just shoved the bill in our face. we said we would pay and didnt care until she refused to even say sorry. also the toilet is so small and is not adapted to men with men equipment. i had to pee first then reposition then finish my business. and shower after because the toilet paper was thinner than a coffee filter. sorry for the visual. 444
