"It was a pleasant stay and staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived really early in the morning but checking in was smooth. Quite close to the train station and it was easy to catch a morning train. "

"We booked a room with a sofa bed for our teen, and they had it made up for us upon arrival— very nice! Bed was very comfortable, loved that they had windows that could actually open so we could get fresh air. Only reason I didn’t put excellent for more categories is because one day of our multi day stay, they did a less than stellar job on cleaning up and didnt refill our coffee stash. But the other days were excellent."

"This is a wonderful hotel and the staff are very kind. The early 20th C modernist architecture has been lovingly respected and restored, and interiors are modernized without eye-sore. What a treasure! And a surprise from initial photos to see a twin building facing the hotel building. The historical area around has amazing old wood buildings, with lattice windows and carved shutters, all lit up at night, with myriad food places and shops and hundreds of people milling around, dancing, taking photos is fancy outfits, and more. The only thing that would have added to hear perfection at the Moon & Chalice would be a coffee and breakfast corner in the lobby or the first floor. "

"i have an absolutely wonderful stay in Kunming Intercontinental. The staffs are very helpful, especially Stacy Chen and Enzo, they helped me at 8pm to get my Skype working for my meeting at 9pm. They helped me plan my stay in Kunming and I got to visit all the interesting spots in Kunming. The cleaning lady noticed that i did not have a pad for my mouse and she got one for me, very observant and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean and with beautiful garden. The room itself was very spacious and well appointed, spotlessly clean, with beautiful gardens and close to a big lake. It was a wonderful place. Natalie Ng"

"Nostalgia is one of the best hotels we stay in China for the last 3 weeks that we have been travelling in China. Our family room was clean and has a mini bar with drinks and yogurts that were free, The hotel has thoughfully included items that are free to offer to guests from arrival with afternoon tea and supper, during stay wirh band-aids, hair bands, disinfectant tissues, masks, shoe cleaning cloth, earbuds, dental floss, microwave, coffee and teas. Other good hotel amenities are the 3 spacious lounges equipped with a game table and a gym. There is also a luggage room for storing luggage while travelling to nearby cities for short trips, which is handy for overseas travellers. The hotel is situated within a 10- 15-minute taxi ride to the CBD and within walking distance to a subway station, which is great. Across the road, there is a side street filled with street food hawkers. We would recommend anyone wanting to stay in a nostalgic hotel with easy access to the subway and not far from the city."
