Convenient location near two metro stops, and has a really nice gym.

Great location and 5 mins walk to Rome Termini train station/metro/bus. The hotel is well maintained and the room is spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel and it is easy to walk to all attractions and shopping areas.

Very good hotel with free laundry room, a section with pool and ping pong tables. Restaurant was actually good. Also there is a walking section with lounge tables that was nice Felt safe in the hotel. Only drawback is the area around the hotel is not nice so we usually took taxis. However I recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location at the top of the Spanish Steps is perfect when exploring Rome by foot. The provided breakfast buffet was wonderful. I will be returning to Rome in 2026 and I will definitely stay here for that visit.

Have stayed at the MASSIMO a dozen times, it is one of my favorite hotels. It is an oasis in the dump of Rome.

We thought it may be a bit shaddy staying near the train station, but it was a great surprise for us that the hotel was in a good area, very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

I forgot my handbag in our rental car ( along with my passport, wallet, driver's license). The Frontier desk staff ( forgot his name) help my husband call the rental company at the airport. I finally decided to go back to tge airport to see if my purse was turned in. He called a taxi for us, the drive drove us, waited for us to pick up my purse ( yes there are kind people in this world who honestly turned in my puse untouched). Breakfast at the hotel was delicious with plenty to chose from....

The staff was very kind. We needed to move to a room with a step-in shower because my 82 yo mother had trouble stepping into the tub in her room. They moved her to a (more expensive, I think) room just down the hall so mom would be more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, and just what we needed to start a long day of sightseeing. This hotel was great. Located in one of the best areas to walk 2 mins to Spanish steps, 10 minutes to the pantheon, 20 minutes to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the colosseum. We picked this hotel because we had both a wine tasting event and a dinner with friends close to the hotel. This was our first visit. What we found was a very clean, modern and easy to reach by car hotel. It is located within a 10 minute cab ride to some great restaurants and evening fun spots in Roma too. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably price excellent hotel just outside the center of Roma

Grand Hotel Palace is a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train station, the beautiful Borghese Gardens, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and other sites of interest to tourists. There are many restaurants, fancy and plain nearby. The hotel's restaurant is nice. Comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

I really can't say enough nice things about this hotel. For the low price we paid, I can't believe how great the hotel was. We paid over double for several other hotels that were AWFUL. The hotel is in a convenient location, very close to the train station and attractions in central Rome. We arrived early and were allowed to check in much earlier than usual,that surprised us. This location worked perfectly for our travel needs and all places we wanted to visit. Convenient stop for taxis and ubers and there were public transportation opportunities as well. Highly recommend.

If you just have a short time in Rome, this hotel could not be more convenient, right next to Termni train station - about 30 minutes from FCO. This means you are also right next to a Metro stop - easy access to major tourist sites. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
