Top Applecross Peninsula Hotel Reviews
Tongadale Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was good except the door. The door was not anti slam. Each time a neighbour went in and out, the door was slammed order to close, woke me up a few of times, otherwise everything was good. Thanks."
Applecross B&B and Cabins
10/10 Excellent
"We had the pleasure of staying with Marion & Moray recently. We survived the applecross pass drive! The complementary wee dram was very welcome after the drive & fighting the midges while watching the sunset at the beach. We were in a top floor room. Chatted with Marion & Moray that evening & over the full breakfast offering, talked about Applecross & some culture, events & travel tips which we were useful and gladly adopted! Truly wonderful stay with a lovely friendly couple you will not be disapponted .. watch out for the midges which will attack you 😂.. we also booked the applecross sauna with stunning views which we recommend. Many thanks Marion & Moray .. Andras & Rob"
Balmacara Hotel
8/10 Good
"+ Bon petit déjeuner. Bien situé. Personnel aimable. - Ventilateur inefficace."
Gairloch Hotel
8/10 Good
"What an incredible accommodation the Gairloch Hotel must have been in its day! But like so many hotels of its vintage, its age shows. Ceiling cracks and chipped paint, musty carpets and drapes, sagging cushions in the lobby area—one shouldn’t be surprised to find such things in a moderately priced historic hotel. If you want the Ritz or the Savoy, you have to pay for it. But the Gairloch Hotel still has lots of charm, spacious rooms, updated bathrooms, and the most comfortable bed we slept on during our two and-a-half week Scotland trip. And the breakfast buffet isn’t half bad either. Have realistic expectations and you may actually find them exceeded."
Uig Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Delightful gem off of the beaten path! Warm welcoming staff, stunning views of the harbor and beyond, serious kitchen with excellent local seafood and a great night’s rest in a clean serene location! Would definitely recommend!"
Eilean Iarmain
10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful staff, always cheerful and accepting our needs. Lovely view when having breakfast, weather was kind. Interesting visit to the Gallery."
Kings Arms Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had 2 rooms booked here. The staff was friendly, the place is very cozy with a beautiful water facing property. We did not get a chance to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant, but the breakfast had a lot of variety and was great! The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. We stayed here 2 nights to explore Skye! I highly recommend Kings arms!"
The Skye Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great location in Portree Skye with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty. Recommend!"
Cuillin Hills Hotel
