Staff you are amazing, professional, and eager to help. From the moment being checked in by a lovely young woman we felt very welcomed. They offer a free shuttle to Alya shopping restaurants and also to down town.

Freindly, safe and helpful

I ended up having to extend my stay and chose Oryx. Very high level of service, excellent breakfast, everyone very attentive. Sliding glass door to balcony needed the lock repaired; was fixed in 10 minutes with a call to the front desk. All in all a very good experience there. Would reccomend.

This was a fantastic stay, and it was my first time there. The people were extremely helpful, spoke excellent English, and made me feel very welcome. The rooms were tremendous and the bed was very comfortable, so I got really good rest. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the amenities or what I would expect at a hotel like this, as they were excellent

Whilst this property has a few things that would benefit from tidying up, or modernising, and the dining options are limited, it is the team themselves who make this a great stay and a really good, reasonably priced, conveniently situated hotel in Aqaba. The team at this hotel, and especially the management, are well spoken, polite, supportive, and prepared to go every extra mile that they can to support their guests. There is a good level of English language spoken for non-Arabic speakers, and every action is focused on providing comfort and support wherever possible. For higher prices, there are invariably more glamorous choices in Aqaba, but these are often noisy, and hectic, with little time for individual focus. At the Oryx, every guest was the focus, treated like friends visiting rather than people passing through. Nothing was too much trouble, and I would happily recommend it as a terrific reasonably priced option for a stay in the area.

Very nice hotel. On the lower range of a 5 Star property and so they go the extra mile to show they are worth it. Stayed with a group and we had an excellent time here. Very nice property, if a little off the beaten path.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The manager, Mahmoud, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He outright refused to let us bring any food or drinks from outside—even though other nearby hotels had no issue with it. This ridiculous policy left us with no choice but to eat their overpriced and mediocre food. We weren’t even allowed to save leftovers for later! The lack of flexibility and basic hospitality was shocking. This place clearly cares more about squeezing money out of guests than offering a welcoming or comfortable experience.
