The cottage is beautiful outside and inside with new floors and furnishings. It’s extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here."

Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. "We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace. "Spiddal Cottage was delightful! Both rooms were spacious, the living room was lovely, the kitchen small but with all the necessary appliances. We didn't ever cook there, so I can't say anything about the pots, pans, spices, etc. The mattresses were quite firm. Bring your own entertainment if you want to watch something. The wifi worked great and we had access to the washing machine, which was very nice. Patsy was accommodating and super nice! The area was stunning, and a great place for a ferry...
