If you make it to Inisheer you have to take a horse drawn carriage ride around the island. We were lucky enough to get Dolly and she had quite the personality. We had to get out and encourage her up the hill. IN her defense she was still in training while we were there. If you do get to go say hello to Dolly!

"This is a charming little spot with peek a boo views of the Aran Islands on days when weather allowed. It’s nestled in with a number of other rental dwellings with easy parking. I believe a small hotel is also in the property. The hosts and their families are nearby too. Although guests aren’t impacted in anyway, the place is also a working sheep farm. "It was a quaint and perfect little cabin for our needs, the two of us. Just on the edge of town, quiet, and suited us well. "

"Wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing, cozy and quiet. The location is perfect, a 15-20 minute drive into Galway center meant a variety of restaurants and shops were close by. Joyce was a great host, welcoming when we arrived, and she provided fun recommendations for the area."

"We stayed in Lahinch for 8 days, the location is really close to the beach in Lahinch. The is a Spar supermarket right across the street. Unit is ver clean and nice layout. Can be a little noisy in the morning."

"Cannot say enough good things about the Armada House! One of the most memorable, lovely hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff was so kind and the hotel was decorated so beautifully including the rooms. Such incredible views and lots of areas to walk to enjoy the nature views. We pre-booked taxis to Doolin for a ferry to the Aran Islands and to the Cliffs of Moher during our stay. Would absolutely love to return!"
