"This really is the best central makati hotel and my go-to for every visit. Rooms are clean, restaurants are good, very convenient location, plenty of local shopping and night life, zero bs. I also find for the money it's the best value going. If you want cheap janky digs, go elsewhere. City grand is absolutely the best value and experience going."

"Clean, excellent service and location! Everyone knows the the hotel is grand but old. I booked two (2) rooms, one facing Manila bay and the other room that we stayed in 16th floor faces Intramuros. The Bldg needs a little bit of maintenance as the outside shows paint peeling off when I look from my window. Manila Hotel is my Go To hotel and would stay there again whenever I am back in their area."
