"It’s an old building, beautifully preserved, with excellent service, great food (enough for 2 vegetarians to survive), a wonderful breakfast, amazing views (though we did not have one from our lovely room) and a bridge to the old town. Cuenca is stunning. We truly enjoyed our stay. We spent 3 days, but could have stayed longer. "

"The views from this hotel are to die for -- a stunning vista of a natural gorge, medieval walls, the monastery-become-parador across the gorge, and the whole hill town curving down below this hotel. The supplement for the good view and balcony are so worth it! Otherwise a fine hotel in a wonderful setting, even if the breakfast spread was a little disappointing. "

"They had an event during our stay, which led to waiting in the parking lot for an hour to find parking. Pool was closed. Shower head broken. Place is very peaceful and serene. Very clean and staff helpful. Close to being an excellent hotel, just need to tie up some loose ends. "

"We had the room at the top of the hotel which was up a flight of stairs after the lift got to the top. It was stunning. A small totally private rooftop patio gave us 270 degree views over the awesome scenery and the old town. A small window the other side looked down through the valley to the new town. Breathtaking! Excellent conversion of a heritage (I assume) building. Our only problem was we didn't stay long enough."
