"Staff was very friendly and helpful at checking in and checking out. Room was clean and comfortable despite a little obvious wear and tear of the place. The only small issues I had and saw was the lighting in the room was minimal and a bit dim. The two lamps on the night stand were not working well and one lampshade was broken. Finally the sink in the bathroom took a little long to drain so it would get filled up too quickly due to the poor drainage. I didn’t get to partake in the breakfast the days I stayed due to having other plans each morning of my stay."

"We liked this hotel! We were here for a few days. For the price, I am impressed with the rooms. It was clean and comfortable. I liked the gated parking. The breakfast was good. Coffee available all day and OJ in the morning too. Most of the staff were really fantastic! They were very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. One staff member was a little stingy with the towels. We had a three day stay and only asked for new towels once. And, It's a pet friendly hotel but there were not very many places for my dog to use the bathroom. One small designated patch and then lots of bushes he tried to climb into. But he's a bigger dog so a small pet would be more comfortable. Overall we had a nice stay and will visit again!"

"Our stay at the HolidayExpress was great . The room was clean we stayed in the room with the jacuzzi in it and it was wonderful. I use a walker and there was plenty of room for me to maneuver around the room. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after driving for 6 hours . My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much . "

"The breakfast was good and had many choices. The location was not ideal as it bisected two highways, that led to and from 101. There was a good amount of street noise off property, but other than that we enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and well taken care of, they cleaned each day, which I appreciated. Another cool thing, is during weekdays, they have a limo service that will take you to 10 plus restaurants around the area. Yes, a limo, and it was in pristine condition. We enjoyed that as part of the stay. We will most likely stay here again as the loggings in the Eureka area seem a little hit or miss, so the ratings for this hotel were spot on. "
