"Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. The property is new, well maintained, clean and has everything to need for your stay. We stayed in the Tucan villa, the pool was perfect and the covered deck was great on warm rainy days. The staff was super friendly and easy to connect with through What’sApp. Uvita beach is a short drive away, lots of good restaurants nearby. We stayed 12 nights and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely come back here if in Costa Rica again."

" A Slice of Paradise in Costa Rica!From the moment we arrived, this stunning home exceeded every expectation. The views were absolutely breathtaking—so mesmerizing that I found myself taking the same photo over and over again, unable to get enough of the scenery. Whether it was sunrise, sunset, or the golden hour in between, the vistas never got old.The owners clearly poured their hearts into the design. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to maximize the natural beauty surrounding the property. Large windows, perfectly placed seating areas, and open spaces made it feel like nature was part of the home itself. Morning visits from the toucans made morning coffee on the patio an unforgettable memory with sounds of the ocean and the ocean views, just awesome! The pool was huge and had options for lounging or laps. The infinity edge was perfect for lounging and soaking up the ocean views. What truly set this place apart were the personal touches. You can tell the owners went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience.If you have time and are able, request the waterfall rappelling tour and mangrove kayaking tour. Both were fantastic. Diego and Anner were amazing guides, taking time to explore, enjoy the natural settings, and genuinely good people. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with unbeatable views, pool and a home that feels like a dream, this is it. Costa Rica was amazing—and this house was a huge part of that! "We had 2 families stay together on this property for a week and it was gorgeous!! Don’t get me wrong, there are some things that need a little work, but it was a great adventure. We stayed very busy, but spent some time at the house too since it was rainy season.Things that were not advertised— oven doesn’t work( We had to cook stovetop the entire time); they have a bat problem (which I was told was taken care of); holes in the screen (hence the bat problem) that could easily be fixed; The road getting to the house is almost impossible!! We had 2 Subaru 4x4’s and it was tough. Again, rainy season and they roads were flooded. Even without the water the holes are insane!! If you can get a jeep or SUV, you will be better.There is a resident cat (we named her Dora because she is an explorer) that we were unsure of at first. TRUST ME- you want Dora around. She is really sweet and she hunts ( if you know what I mean).The caretaker next door, Francisco, is absolutely adorable and so kind!! He doesn’t speak much English, but he had fun trying to communicate with our teenagers. He has a dog, Roki that visits too (he likes belly rubs).Overall, the experience was great and it was the adventure we were looking for!!"

"The location of the property is beautiful, set back from the road and elevated for a great view of the Pacific. We particularly enjoyed the Happy Hour each day at 5:00 to enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The pool, the colorful plants, the toucans, tanagers, orapendulas and numerous other birds added so much to our visit. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Our 5 days spent at Cristal Ballena were top notch!"

"Our stay was more than we could have dreamed of. The house was larger and more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. It was closer to the ocean than expected and the yard and beaches were gorgeous. We went for spring break and hardly saw any other people on the beach! The access to Playa Archo was so fun because it felt like our little secret. We were so thankful for the air conditioning in one bedroom. We ended up having family game nights in there a couple of times so everyone could cool off. The only thing I would change would be more lighting for the evenings. We cooked dinner at home a lot and even with the brighter lights above the island it still felt dark for preparing a meal. Natalia graciously met us when we arrived in the pouring rain and was easy to reach and quick to respond our whole stay. The Ballena Bistro at the end of the road was wonderful too! The only downside was the distance from the airport in San Jose, but it was still worth the drive! "
