Lean and comfortable and plenty of complementary snacks
This was a nice chnge from large hotels, and was very clean and comfortable. Very welcoming and cheerful setting with space to visit with family and friends.
This was such an amazing stay. It was my first bed and breakfast and I will definitely be back. I loved the aesthetics. The complimentary coffee and food was great. There were plenty of places to relax. It was clean and quiet.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Arbor Rose boutique Hotel. The hotel was clean and very nicely furnished. Had more amenities the any one we have ever stayed in. Would give it a five star rating.
Common areas were lovely, and self-serve breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. Espresso machine was delightful. Room was basic but clean, and bed was very comfortable. Shower was great.
The Arbor Rose is a sweet little property in Arcola. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Great snacks and water bottles were provided that made us feel welcomed. Plenty of pillows, fluffy towels, and a plush bath mat were extra touches that we appreciated. We stayed for the State Track meet and it is a quick drive down to Charleston. There is a large lobby and common kitchen that would be useful if you had a big group.
Our bed was comfortable, the room sparkling clean, and our host attentive even though no one was on site. He checked to be certain we received his text to get in. All in all a wonderful experience!

Our access code to get in the door was not sent so we had to call and wait for 25 mins before he heard anything. Outside areas needed to be cleaned up. We could not sit outside at the table by the arbor to enjoy the beautiful morning with our coffee which would have been nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen and common area was nice with plenty of snacks, food and drinks.
I had a little trouble getting to the info about the codes to get in the door but that was my fault. Once we got in, we could get into one room but not the other. Then I noticed they had sent another code in the online conversation and that one worked! Everything was comfortable and cozy. We played cards in the common area at night and used the kitchen facilities in the morning. Good snacks and choices for self-service breakfast. Much cheaper than the hotels in Champaign on a home football weeken at the Univ of Illinois! I noticed I did pay a bit more for this stay than if I had booked it through AirBNB but I realized that after I had already paid for it.

This is an interesting place. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros: Clean and spacious, pretty quiet other than when a train went by which was not often, full kitchen if you need to use it, some snacks (poptarts and crackers) and good coffee. They had a fan in the room which for me is a huge bonus! And provided a space heater upon request. Super comfy bed and nice towels. All handicap accessible.
Cons: They forgot to send me the door code. Just so you know, this place does not have staff so it felt a bit off at first. They did take care of this within a few minutes and were very responsive.
It is in an old Nursing home or memory care place. This didn't bother me, but, again, was interesting.
Overall, I will probably stay there again because I have a client in the area and get tired of regular hotels.
Probably will not find a cleaner place to stay within 1000 miles. Brent was amazing as far as communication and renting a room, loved the common area, and ammenities.
Brent was so efficient and helpful during our check in. He made sure we have the info needed in making our stay .seamless. This guy deserves a raise! He’s a good ambassador of your brand!
Super peaceful location in a small town neighborhood yet easy access to highway. Very nice bed and bedding. I slept great. Nice common area with snacks, coffee and water. Loved enjoying a coffee and granola bar on the porch in the morning!!
