"For an annual family golf trip to Skibbereen we stay at The West Cork Hotel. It’s clean, staff are friendly and it’s in a good location. It’s also reasonably priced. Breakfast is good too. "

Food in the restaurant and pub excellent Overall great facilities on site. Good location. Hard to believe it only has a 3 star rating!! "

"Beautifully situated in hotel grounds on elevated site overlooking estuary. 5 minutes drive into Kinsale. Large modern rooms, clean with large bed and great views. Hotel reception and restaurant bright and airy. Dinner was average and breakfast on the first morning was awful. Self served cooked breakfast was warm at best and running low or out of components. Plates, although looked clean, had a gritty feel as if dishwasher not correctly functioning. Breakfast on the second day improved."
